Rose's Birthday Celebration!!!
(and Mother's Day too)

Rose of the Starry Plough will be celebrating her 50th Birthday on Sunday, May 13th (Mother's Day) and she has kindly asked the Naked Barbies to play for her. It is also the 15th anniversary of the recording of our third CD "Living Independently". So we decided we will play the entire CD from start to finish. Some of the songs have not been played live in years! Unfortunately, Danny was unable to fly out for the occasion, but I saw a really exceptional young drummer named Kyle Kelly-Yahner playing recently and asked him to play with us.

The show is free and all ages and will begin at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Our good friend (and former Plough bartender) Denise Funari will be opening with her great group Yard Sale, which includes members of Red Meat and the Verms.

The Plough is located at 3101 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley.
